Our Connected Communities

Together we are building community web sites in every city, town, village and neighborhood in America. Let's get to work! Let's connect our communities.

What are community web sites?

For us, community web sites are the synergistic vehicle that brings everyone together to showcase the best our communities have to offer. Community web sites benefit the citizens, business owners, service providers, local government and visitors of a town.

Citizens learn what is going on in town and communicate their thoughts and concerns. Citizens offer constructive criticism when needed. Business owners promote their businesses and let the community know when they have job openings. Realtors share what properties are for sale in the community. Neighbors share reviews of service providers, notify locals about yard sales and lost pets. Local government shares access to the services that they provide to the community. Visitors learn where to stay, fun things to do and see and places to eat.

Connected Communities has been making community web sites since 1998.

It started in San Jose, California in the suburbs of Silicon Valley. When we moved to Warner Robins, Georgia in 2003, it didn't take long before we had two community web sites. Since we have two community web sites, we now want to have roughly another 36,000. When we drove across country from California to Georgia, we took our time going from state to state and town to town. Everywhere we go, I see nothing but economic opportunity for us all.

You can create and contribute to a community web site in the town you live or work. Consider contributing to a community web site in your home town. Consider contributing to a community web site in every town you visit. Maybe you would like to work on the community web site of a town you love to visit. The opportunities seem endless.

We are looking for you!

We are looking for stewards, champions and ambassadors. We are looking for you! Stewards take care of the community web site. Stewards can add new information, update existing information and archive outdated information. Stewards earn points and levels demonstrating the amount of activity they have contributed to our community web sites.

Champions have the same abilities as stewards. Champions can also make money when they make contact with the many economic opportunities that a community web site offers. Connected Communities will share 30% of the revenue generated by the Champion as a commission. It doesn't cost anything to become a Steward or a Champion. Sign up today.

Ambassadors have the same abilities as Stewards and Champions. Ambassadors share in some of the hard costs to build, maintain and store the community web site content by paying a monthly or annual fee. Ambassadors share in 50% of the revenue generated by the Ambassador as a commission. Ambassadors also get a 20% commission from all revenue generated by Stewards.

In 2016, more than 190 billion U.S. dollars were spent in advertising in the United States.

U.S. advertising is a multi-billion dollar enterprise.

According to Statista.com, more than 190 billion U.S. dollars were spent in advertising in the United States in 2016. Television advertising used to be the largest medium for advertising dollars, but digital advertising has surpassed television. Digital advertising spending in the U.S. for 2019 has grown to $129 billion again according to Statista.com.

Our crowd-sourced Connected Communities web sites are a perfect platform for this digital advertising. Local businesses will love to target their advertising and promotion dollars directly with the community that they provide services. Also, their advertising dollars are recycled in the community to be spent again in the community. Why should all of their advertising dollars go to Google, Facebook and Microsoft? Don't you want to earn a piece of that multi-billion dollar enterprise? Get started now!

There is nothing to do?

How many times have you heard or thought to yourself that there is nothing to do in our town? I would bet there is plenty of fun stuff to do in your town or in the nearby communities, but not everyone got the news. Your town definitely needs a community web site and you are just the person to create it.

Does your town have a Christmas parade or a 4th of July festival? Is there a farmers market nearby? What local bands are playing in the local bars, pubs and restaurants? What events are going on at the public library? Our Connected Communties web site is just the place to gather this information and share it with the rest of the community.
